Plasma...

Plasma cutting is a process that uses a high velocity jet of ionized gas that is delivered from a constricting orifice. The high velocity ionized gas (the plasma) conducts electricity from the torch of the plasma cutter to the work piece. The plasma heats the work piece, melting the material. The high velocity stream of ionized gas mechanically blows the molten metal and slag away, cutting the material.

Plasma cutting can be performed on any type of conductive metal; mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel are some examples. With mild steel, operators will experience a faster and thicker cut than with an alloy.

Digital Profile Services Ltd uses and provides high quality and long lasting Hypertherm plasma systems.

Cut quality and consumable life

Hypertherm plasma provides more consistent cut quality and longer consumable life than other plasma manufacturers.

Operating cost

Hypertherm plasma operating cost is less than half of the competition's.

At Digital profile Services, we offer a range of plasma products to suit your needs.

MAX200

The MAX 200 from Hypertherm is an entry-level oxygen plasma cutting system, great for often-changing cutting requirements and production schedules. It is a proven production cutting system with an attractive initial capital cost.

The MAX200 Features:
  • 200 amp, 30kw power output delivers heavy-duty cutting capacity up to 50mm thick on most metals.
  • 100% duty cycle at full power keeps you cutting - all day long.
  • Adjustable power output from 40 to 200 amps lets the operator precisely match power to cutting requirements.
  • A state-of-the-art transistorised power supply maintains constant output current regardless of variations in input voltages or torch-to-work distances, ensuring clean, square cuts throughout the cutting range.
  • Max200's dual gas system - plasma and shield allows you to run optimal gas combinations for optimal results on all metals and conditions.

PowerMAX series

An entry-level single gas (air or nitrogen) cutting system from Hypertherm, great for duct cutting, pipe cut-off, beveling and robotic 3-D cutting.

The PowerMAX range includes the PowerMAX1000, PowerMAX1250, and the PowerMAX1650. These differ in output power capacity and amperage.

The Powermax range features:
  • 100-amp, 16-kilowatt output provides ample power for cutting heavy plate cleanly and quickly.
  • Auto-voltage input sensing allows you to run on voltages from 200 to 600 volts, 3-phase, with no rewiring.
  • CNC/Robotic machine interface is standard on all units, allowing for automated control and rapid mechanized installation.
  • New Boost Conditioner™ circuit
