Specifications

In standard configuration, the DPS Stealth has a single high density plasma torch in combination with an oxy fuel torch. This setup also has the capability to be enhanced to a twin high density plasma torch combination machine at a later stage.

With the unique DPS enclosed beam design and enclosed step/cat-track guides we eliminate the attack of debris and sparks on supply hose/cabling, and drive components. No other design has all the X and Y cat-track supply system protected to this scale and enables the Stealth range to provide long and useful service.
Ease of maintenance with large hinged doors and cover with no need to disassemble any process equipment to reach grease and lubrication points.
SKF machined linear type rails, hardened 30 lb. per foot rail for precise machine positioning.
Four way leveling adjustment.
Hidden cable carriers for plasma cables and control and interface cables.
Twin precision Gudel drive rack on floor main rails axis for synchronization of both side pods.
Table designed to accommodate heavy plasma/gas cutting.
Individual power track for each cable set to each tool station on the cross axis.
Transverse caterpillar track (drag chain) for all hoses and cables in the X, Y, and Z axes. The use of our enclosed system of caterpillar track helps protect these supply and control components from damage and also eliminates cable snagging and controls the bend radius of the cables to prolong their life.

Burny 10 LCD Plus Controller

The Stealth incorporates the advanced touch-screen Burny 10 controller to offer all the latest features.

On-board cutting parameters and look-up tables allow for optimisation of parameters to particular materials being cut. This allows the operator to concentrate on any necessary changes to the consumables. Our system can even tell him which consumables to use and give real-time feed back on consumables and when a change-over can be expected. In addition, multiple plate cutting is available on this system for increased productivity.

The Burny 10 also has an on-board standard shapes library, advanced self diagnostics, built in motion oscilloscope for operator advanced motion tuning and cut loss recovery so that jobs can be interrupted and returned to without problem.

Burny 10 real time position and speed control complete with the patented Sercos Bosch drive system that allows for incredible accuracy at any speed with any process.
DPS developed on-board manuals, help diagnostics and cut charts for ease of operation and ready operator information.
Controls for stripping in X and Y axes.
Advanced touch screen with total control of machine from one position.
DPS remote control available as an option and also remote training/diagnostics.
Laser alignment for plate alignment and/or plate distinguishing (if option picked) into an on-board remnant for automatic nesting.
On-board part creation nesting.
On-board drive/process diagnostic screens for exact tuning and correction capability.
Collision control/breakaway is a standard feature of our Burny10/DPS Posi-track torch station and virtually eliminates damage to torch components and cut material as in the unlikely event of a collision the spring loaded holders of the Posi-track torch station release and signal to the Burny10 to decelerate to an emergency stop.

Plasma Process

DPS Inova torch height control system comes from a very long line of torch height sensing systems and provides the quality height control required by a high density plasma system.

Oxy Process

350mm long Messer-style oxy fuel torches are supplied standard and known as the best quality cutting tips in the world with exceedingly good tip life with its unique tip design (can be supplied with twin tip adaptors for up to four torch capacity as an option).
DPS hi/low auto-pierce and hi/low preheat manifold system in conjunction with our Burny10/DPS Posi-track torch station lift on piece system to provide auto-piercing of plate up to 100mm thick (one torch capacity). This unit uses programmable PWM micro processors to adjust pressures as required accurately and repeatedly. It will come set up for supply to two Posi-track torch stations but can be configured for up to six tips and have the hi/low preheat option per tool station for individual use and Isolation. This will allow for high speed preheating of cut area and ramping down to low preheat flame to maintain cut capability during rapid transverse between parts.
DPS Posi-track torch stations come with our oxy/fuel system to provide the best possible movement. These units come with their own unique linear drive system that ensures constant and accurate positioning at all times. The modular design adds to the versatility of this product which can have numerous enhancing kits added:

-DPS auto collision control/breakaway to limit damage to torches upon plate strike
-DPS laser pointers
-DPS auto lift to pieces and programmable park
-DPS digital positioning control for raise to pierce control and programmable park positioning
-DPS ball joint style torch leveling system that allows for any alignment angle to be obtained with only the one movement.

Fume extraction enhanced options

The Stealth cutting system has an enhanced option of a 5th axis fume bin. It's design includes a separate fume/part collection system with auto doors for removal of product and or scrap and enhanced fume extraction.
This system is highly successful and saves injury to operators from having to climb under the cutting table to retrieve parts that have fallen through the cleat bars and produces a way of protecting cut parts that have fallen through the table from the plasma plume and perfects fume extraction.
